Carmen Villadar is the real life name of the online presence, DigitalFemme. She is a tech savvy, tech sexy girlgeek who immerses herself with gadgets, tech news and basically anything that's out there on the internet. Carmen moved to Germany in May 2008 and is working as a Business Development Consultant, Social Media for G2iX (part-time). Her first job in Germany was freelancing as a Business English Language Trainer. She is on hiatus from teaching English right now but if you need English Training, you can still get in touch with her. She likes people, so she might say, "Yes, I'll train you!" - thus ending her hiatus.

Carmen is also the founder of the Frankfurt Girl Geek Dinners, (likemind) ffm and Open Coffee Club Frankfurt. Since her move, Carmen has been observing the growth of Web 2.0 tools, Social Media Platforms and Open Source projects in Germany. She has been pleased with the amount of startups emerging and is hopeful that this new economy will prove to be advantageous for the startup market. In fact, she is currently working on her own DIY Startup and is looking for interested investors. When she has time Carmen helps her friend Tom, find nice places for his units.
